Do I need an account, sign-up or API key?

No. There are no accounts — the paying wallet is the identity. The one exception is optional plans (e.g. a trust-10k pack), which mint a wallet-bound bearer token over x402: still no email, no password. Wallet-scoped reads like signed statements use a cryptographic proof of wallet control (X-Wallet-Auth), never a query param.
